Worshop Online. Open vs. closed science: Scientific communication and communication channels
Marzo 27, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
GratisThe goal of this workshop is to explore how to make your research interesting and accessible for audiences outside of Chile.
The workshop is structured in two parts. Part one is theoretical, based on the concept of “ecologies of knowledges” (Santos, 2014), and explores the explicit (visible) and implicit (invisible) barriers of academic knowledge sharing, which are presented and discussed using specific examples (e.g., publishing in international higher education journals). Part two is the practical part of the workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss abstracts of their own work which will have to be uploaded to Google-Docs or Etherpad prior to the workshop.
